AI-enabled ventures guide

Use AI where it changes the commercial outcome.

The customer problem, operating model, economics, data, review, and trust boundary matter more than the AI label.

AI is a mechanism, not a market

Start with the customer outcome and commercial constraint. Then ask whether AI materially changes speed, cost, personalisation, prediction, insight, automation, or reach.

Check the full operating system

A strong AI-enabled venture also needs usable data, reliable review, error recovery, privacy boundaries, acceptable unit economics, and a buyer who values the outcome.

Test manually before building deeply

Deliver the promised result with a bounded human-assisted workflow first where possible. This tests the buyer and outcome without confusing model capability with demand.

Avoid AI theatre: adding AI language does not make an ordinary offer innovative or defensible.
